Staff Accountant (AR Focused)
Type of Employment: Direct Hire, Full Time, Hybrid after training
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 a year
Location: Tigard, OR

Exciting opportunity available for a Staff Accountant position! LHH has formed a partnership with a company located near Tigard, OR which is actively seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate should possess at least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and demonstrate advanced excel skills.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Handling soft collections for business-to-business transactions

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

• Assist with month-end closing processes Following up on overdue accounts.

• Resolving any discrepancies or inquiries related to invoices.

To be a suitable candidate, you must have:

• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in accounts receivable and/or extensive excel and GL reconciliation experience.

• Advanced excel experience is required (Macros, V- Lookups, Pivot Tables)

• Prior experience with reconciliations, cash posting and cash applications.
