Overview:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced Medical Billing Specialist for a confidential client in Torrance, CA. This role involves handling patient accounts and self-pay collections in a hospital business office. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase you skills with an established healthcare company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process patient payments through cash, check, credit card, and online portals.

• Manage reconciliation processes and address discrepancies.

• Use hospital patient accounting systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) to access accounts, review billing history, and document interactions.

• Understand hospital billing practices, including charges, adjustments, and payments.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in hospital business office self-pay collections.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and email.

• Open to candidates with relevant experience, even if it's their first time in a similar role.

• No on-call or weekend work required.
