About the Company

LHH is partnering with a rapidly growing company backed by a leading private equity firm. As they continue to scale operations and refine their financial infrastructure, they are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking FP&A Manager to build out and lead the Financial Planning & Analysis function from the ground up. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments and wants to make a strategic impact from day one.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CFO, the FP&A Manager will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the company’s financial planning processes, reporting cadence, and performance metrics. You’ll be the go-to finance partner across the business—offering visibility, insights, and strategy to executive leadership. The ideal candidate will bring experience from a private equity-backed organization and the confidence to operate in a board-facing, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stand up the FP&A function, including systems, models, and reporting structures

  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes

  • Lead revenue recognition activities and ensure alignment with accounting standards

  • Build and deliver board presentation materials with financial insights and KPI tracking

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives with data-driven analysis

  • Mentor and lead a small team (currently 2 direct reports), fostering a high-performance culture

  • Monitor key performance indicators and develop tools for ongoing business performance evaluation

  • Inventory experience is helpful but not required

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, with at least 2 years in a leadership or strategic finance role

  • Prior exposure to private equity portfolio companies is strongly preferred

  • Proven track record of building or transforming an FP&A function from scratch

  • Deep understanding of revenue recognition principles and financial modeling

  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills, especially in board settings

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)

  • Hands-on, detail-oriented leader with a strategic mindset and a bias toward action

What’s Offered

  • Competitive base salary and bonus opportunity

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Opportunity to build and shape a critical business function in a high-growth environment

Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $180,000.00 per year
