About the Company
LHH is partnering with a rapidly growing company backed by a leading private equity firm. As they continue to scale operations and refine their financial infrastructure, they are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking FP&A Manager to build out and lead the Financial Planning & Analysis function from the ground up. About the Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, the FP&A Manager will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the company’s financial planning processes, reporting cadence, and performance metrics. You’ll be the go-to finance partner across the business—offering visibility, insights, and strategy to executive leadership. The ideal candidate will bring experience from a private equity-backed organization and the confidence to operate in a board-facing, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
Stand up the FP&A function, including systems, models, and reporting structures
Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
Lead revenue recognition activities and ensure alignment with accounting standards
Build and deliver board presentation materials with financial insights and KPI tracking
Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives with data-driven analysis
Mentor and lead a small team (currently 2 direct reports), fostering a high-performance culture
Monitor key performance indicators and develop tools for ongoing business performance evaluation
Inventory experience is helpful but not required
What We're Looking For
7+ years of experience in FP&A, with at least 2 years in a leadership or strategic finance role
Prior exposure to private equity portfolio companies is strongly preferred
Proven track record of building or transforming an FP&A function from scratch
Deep understanding of revenue recognition principles and financial modeling
Strong executive communication and presentation skills, especially in board settings
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
Hands-on, detail-oriented leader with a strategic mindset and a bias toward action
