LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a client of ours located in Troy, MI. Our client is a rapidly growing technology business who is looking to add an Accounts Receivable Specialist to their team. The company has enjoyed incredible success in the last few years' and they are seeking a candidate with an accounting background as they continue their expansion.
Qualifications
2+ years of accounts receivable experience with high cash volume.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus but not required.
Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus but not required if experienced.
Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with ProfitKey ERP system is a plus but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to take initiative, solve problems effectively, and communicate clearly both in writing and verbally.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Experience in tenant account management is a plus.
Responsibilities
Reconcile daily cash activity for all bank accounts.
Record, scan, and post all cash, checks, wires, ACH, and credit card payments received in bank accounts promptly and accurately.
Apply payments to invoices using customer remittance information.
Collaborate with the controller on unapplied cash and rejected checks.
Review and update customer and Tenant accounts and statements monthly.
Prepare and submit monthly tenant invoices.
Ensure all vendor and tenant insurance certificates are kept up to date.
Work with the internal sales team to resolve customer payment issues.
Assist the accounting department with other projects and ad hoc reports as needed.
Specifics:
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Contract-to-Hire
Monday-Friday: 8am – 5pm with an hour lunch, flexible morning start times
