Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join an accounting team and take ownership of various financial processes. If you’re a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a role that requires accuracy, communication, and accountability, this position is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Financial Management: Conduct daily cash reviews, reconcile counter sales, and manage credit card merchant accounts.

  • Tax & Compliance: Assist in preparing sales tax returns, reviewing invoices, and calculating tax amounts.

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Post invoices, process payments, and follow up on outstanding AR balances.

  • Expense & Reporting: Track credit card expenses, follow up on receipts, and oversee mileage and construction reports.

  • Vendor & Supply Management: Process payments for services like janitorial accounts and oversee supply ordering and inventory.

  • Banking & Cash Flow: Approve transactions, ensure payments are correctly processed, and manage banking approvals.

  • Customer & Internal Relations: Work closely with builders and internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and timely processing.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience (construction experience preferred).

  • Tech-Savvy: Strong Excel skills (formulas, formatting, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs). Experience with Great Plains, Adobe PDF editing, and Microsoft Office is a plus.

  • Strong Communicator: Able to clearly communicate financial needs, follow up on outstanding tasks, and maintain professional relationships.

  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: Comfortable handling tedious tasks and ensuring accuracy in reporting and reconciliations.

  • Proactive & Self-Motivated: A go-getter who takes initiative and follows through without heavy oversight.



Pay Details: $58,000.00 to $65,000.00 per hour
