LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a confidential and prestigious law firm to identify a skilled and detail-oriented Trusts & Estates Legal Assistant. This role is ideal for a legal professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong background supporting attorneys in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and format legal documents related to wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate plans
- Assist attorneys with probate filings, trust funding, and estate administration tasks
- Maintain and organize client files, including digital document management and physical records
- Coordinate with clients, financial institutions, and court personnel to gather and process necessary documentation
- Track deadlines and manage calendars for attorneys, including court dates and client meetings
- Draft correspondence and client communications with professionalism and confidentiality
- Conduct basic legal research and assist with due diligence as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary, preferably in trusts and estates or private client services
- Strong knowledge of estate planning and probate procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software (e.g., Clio, iManage, or similar)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
- Associates degree or paralegal certificate preferred
Benefits:

Additionally, you may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
