Job Description

Location: Tucson or Phoenix area

Salary Range: 85-90k + Bonus Plan

Setting: Onsite (Hybrid 1-2 days/week once established)

Are you passionate about finance and ready to take your accounting career to the next level? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee all financial transactions—accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and journal entries.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports that inform key business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State financial regulations through rigorous record-keeping and audits.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to set accounting priorities and strategic financial goals.
  • Lead the reconciliation of bank statements and accounts, resolving discrepancies swiftly.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to guide future growth.

What We’re Looking For:

  • QuickBooks experience is required, CLIO is preferred
  • Professional Services Experience (Law/public accounting/other)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Experience with payroll processing and accounts receivable/payable management.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
  • Comfort working with confidential information and external auditors.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Bonus: Experience with ERP systems and legal terminology.


Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
