Cost Analyst – Manufacturing Operations Finance
Location: Coolidge, AZ (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Full-Time
Compensation: $85k–$115k (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-driven Cost Analyst with a strong accounting foundation, manufacturing experience, and the ability to take initiative in a leadership-supporting role. This is a key position that sits at the intersection of finance and operations, helping drive business decisions through accurate cost tracking, analysis, and reporting.
You’ll work closely with plant leadership and finance teams to ensure cost controls, identify performance trends, and continuously improve how data is leveraged across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and report on standard costs, labor, overhead, and material variances
- Maintain and review SAP cost center data, BOMs, and routings
- Perform inventory and production analysis, including monthly reconciliations
- Partner with operations to monitor plant performance against budget and forecasts
- Lead or support process improvements in cost accounting and reporting practices
- Support monthly and year-end close related to COGS, inventory, and work-in-process
- Assist in preparing budgets, standard costs, and financial planning initiatives
- Present findings and recommendations to finance and plant leadership
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in cost analysis, plant accounting, or manufacturing finance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Strong knowledge of SAP ERP and proficiency in Excel
- Understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
- Experience with financial reporting, month-end close, and cost roll-ups
- Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
- Leadership potential or experience managing projects or mentoring others is strongly preferred
