Litigation Assistant
Location: Tucson, AZ
Position Type: 100% Onsite, Direct Hire, Full-Time
Salary: Up to $70K per year, along with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, etc.
LHH is working with a reputable law firm in seeking a highly skilled Litigation Assistant to join their legal team in Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law firm operations and litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage administrative operations for the legal team
Communicate effectively to ensure timely project completion
Schedule appointments, handle calls, and coordinate travel
Open new matters and ensure retention agreements and retainers are collected
Review and file court documents and other official filings
Maintain professionalism in all interactions
Proofread documents for accuracy
Track deadlines, key dates, and calendar appointments
Maintain case lists and update status reports
Perform additional tasks as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years in a law firm setting
At least 4 years in litigation
Preferred experience in Labor & Employment (L&E) and/or Commercial Litigation
Strong understanding of legal processes, terminology, and litigation procedures
Familiarity with labor & employment litigation and contract disputes
Knowledge of federal and state civil procedure rules
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ProLaw, NetDocs, Worldox, Turbo Court, E-Discovery, and docketing systems
Understanding of confidentiality and records management for documents
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
