LHH seeks a bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Medical Office Admin in Tustin, CA.
Greet patients and visitors courteously and helpfully.
Answer phones, screening, and routing calls as needed, create phone notes in the patient's electronic medical record, and/or provide information to patients.
Schedule provider appointments correctly and accurately.
Obtain prior authorization as needed, for referral orders and document the authorization status in the medical record.
Collect patient account balances, co-insurance, copays, deductibles or estimate self-pay rates; prepare daily batches, deposits, etc.
Schedule patients for follow-up office visits or procedures, log no-show appointments; assist in scanning.
Assist with proper routing of incoming faxes and documents.
A minimum of 2 years of admin experience in a healthcare setting. Must have experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
Bilingual in Spanish.
