LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Plant Controller for a dynamic manufacturing facility in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial operations at the plant level, providing strategic insights, and ensuring financial integrity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position Overview:

The Plant Controller will serve as a strategic business partner to plant leadership, driving financial performance through robust analysis, planning, and reporting. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional with a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of plant-level financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes.

• Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

• Develop and maintain standard costing systems and ensure accurate inventory valuation.

• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to support cost control and capital investment decisions.

• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and variances.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong expertise in financial analysis, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss.

• Proven experience with month-end close and general accounting.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
