Bilingual (Mandarin) HR Director - Vacaville, CA
LHH is teaming up with a dynamic organization in Vacaville, CA in search of a Head of Human Resources to support strategic people operations and organizational development initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a company known for its innovation and design excellence. The role offers the chance to work closely with executive leadership and influence key decisions that shape the employee experience and organizational structure.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned HR professional with a strong generalist background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for people-first leadership. They should be comfortable navigating fast-paced environments, managing complex projects, and partnering with senior leaders to drive strategic outcomes. Fluency in Mandarin is required to support cross-functional collaboration and communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic HR business partner to executive leadership.
Lead employee relations efforts across multiple sites.
Oversee recruiting consultants and support the hiring process.
Design and refine organizational structure and culture.
Develop and manage incentive systems aligned with business goals.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
Own and manage the HRIS system and related processes.
Lead onboarding and offboarding processes.
Drive HR special projects including training, performance management, and succession planning.
Qualifications:
5–7 years of HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (required).
Strong knowledge of California employment law and compliance (required).
Experience with HRIS systems and project management (required).
Experience working with Director/VP/SVP-level stakeholders (preferred).
Background in manufacturing or aerospace (preferred).
Experience in fast-paced or startup environments (preferred).
PHR or SPHR certification (a plus).
Bilingual in Mandarin and English (required).
Job Type: Temp to hire, open to direct hire only candidates as well
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Hybrid in Vacaville, CA
Hours: Full-time
Pay Rate: $125,000 - $140,000/year, depending on experience
