Sr. HR Generalist - Valley City, OH (with travel to MI location every two weeks)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Senior HR Generalist for Valley City, OH area. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr. HR Generalist to join our client’s team. This role is pivotal in supporting their employees and ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions across our Valley City, OH location, with regular travel to our MI location every two weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the full spectrum of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and legal requirements.

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.

  • Conduct regular travel to our MI location to support HR initiatives and address employee needs.

  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and address staffing needs and workforce planning.

  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Manage employee benefits programs and assist with benefits administration.

  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on generalist functions.

  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to travel to the MI location every two weeks.

  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
