Job Title: Benefits Specialist
Duration: Contract to Hire or Direct Hire
Location: Onsite – Vancouver, WA
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $27 – $32 per hour (DOE)
About the Role:
LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Benefits Specialist to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in employee benefits and a passion for supporting HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution.
- Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to benefits administration.
- Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate benefits deductions and reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for audits and reporting.
- Support open enrollment processes and employee communications.
- Assist with payroll processing as needed (experience in this area is a strong plus).
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on benefits experience in a professional HR setting is required.
- Experience with payroll processing is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of benefits compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration systems.
Pay Details: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour
