LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established company in Vancouver, WA, to hire multiple Benefits Specialists at different experience levels. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in Human Resources, specifically benefits administration, and payroll experience is required. You will be part of a dedicated team, helping to manage and support employee benefit offerings for clients.
Location: Vancouver, WA
Duration: Temporary, with the potential for direct hire
Hours/Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $23 – $35 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits Highlights:
Vacation: Two weeks in year 1, three weeks from years 2 to 4, and four weeks starting at the fifth year.
Volunteer Leave: 4 days (2 individual, 2 team-based).
Holidays: 8 total holidays per year, including 2 floating holidays.
401(k): 100% match on the first 3%, then 50% match on the next 2%.
Health Savings Account (HSA): 50% match on the first $1,000 contributed.
Employee Stock Purchase Program: Option to purchase company stock at discounted rates.
Responsibilities:
Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans.
Respond to client and employee inquiries regarding benefits programs and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records for employee enrollments, terminations, and changes in benefits status.
Assist in preparing and reviewing benefits-related reports and communications for clients.
Ensure compliance with company policies, carrier guidelines, and regulatory requirements for benefits administration.
Provide support during peak periods such as open enrollment, including on-site assistance when necessary.
Work closely with Benefits Consultants and other team members to support various benefits-related tasks and initiatives.
Assist with payroll processing in conjunction with benefits administration.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on benefits administration and payroll.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment, especially during peak times.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
Experience with online benefits enrollment platforms is a plus.
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $35.00 per hour
