Position: HR Administrator
Location: Onsite in Vancouver, WA
Compensation: $20-$24.50 per hour
Contract Duration: Contract to hire
Job Description:
LHH Recruitment has an exciting opportunity to hire an HR Assistant for our large client based in Portland, OR. We are seeking candidates who either have gained a degree in Business/HR and are looking to start their career, or someone with some exposure to HR who is looking for a new opportunity. Our client offers potential for growth and learning as well as a tight-knit team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, processing documentation, and managing HR databases.
- Recruitment Assistance: Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and assisting with onboarding procedures.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
- Compliance: Ensure all HR activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Payroll: Ensure employee timecards are entered, correct changes as needed, and be a point of contact if employees need assistance.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional HR certification or Bachelors Degree is a plus.
- Experience: At least one year of administrative experience, ideally with some knowledge or exposure to Human Resources.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using an HRIS is a plus.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.50 per hour
