Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Onsite in Vancouver, Washington
Job Type: 6 Month Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour
Position Overview
LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our large client's team onsite in Vancouver, WA for a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in employee relations, investigations, and leave administration, particularly within large organizations of 200+ employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and document internal investigations related to employee relations and policy violations
- Manage leave of absence processes including FMLA, ADA, and other statutory and company leaves
- Respond to unemployment claims and coordinate with relevant agencies
- Provide attendance verification and employment documentation as needed
- Generate reports and maintain accurate HR records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and consistency in HR practices
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of HR Generalist experience in a large organization (200+ employees)
- Proven experience handling investigations and leave administration
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR compliance
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of HRIS and MS Suite.
- Ability to work independently and onsite in Vancouver, WA
Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
