Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Onsite in Vancouver, Washington
Job Type: 6 Month Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour

Position Overview

LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our large client's team onsite in Vancouver, WA for a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in employee relations, investigations, and leave administration, particularly within large organizations of 200+ employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and document internal investigations related to employee relations and policy violations
• Manage leave of absence processes including FMLA, ADA, and other statutory and company leaves
• Respond to unemployment claims and coordinate with relevant agencies
• Provide attendance verification and employment documentation as needed
• Generate reports and maintain accurate HR records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and consistency in HR practices

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of HR Generalist experience in a large organization (200+ employees)
• Proven experience handling investigations and leave administration
• Strong understanding of employment laws and HR compliance
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of HRIS and MS Suite.
• Ability to work independently and onsite in Vancouver, WA
