We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting a diverse group of residents, ensuring their success in housing, and contributing to their overall economic stability. This position involves close collaboration with Property Management, other departments, and external partners to provide comprehensive support services. Responsibilities:



  • Provide personalized assistance to residents, helping them navigate challenges related to housing, employment, education, and health and safety.


  • Collaborate with other staff members to assist with outreach initiatives and organize special events that promote community engagement and resident well-being.


  • Offer technical support and guidance to Property Managers, contributing to the overall success and stability of properties.


  • Act as a first point of contact for residents in crisis, providing timely intervention and connecting them with appropriate resources and services.


  • Provide residents with information and referrals to external resources focused on housing success, employment opportunities, educational programs, and health and safety services.


  • Proactively work to reduce eviction rates by following up on notices issued to residents, offering support, and implementing strategies to prevent situations that could lead to eviction.


  • Track program participation, manage resident referrals, and maintain accurate records through daily attendance logs, referral notes, case notes, and database entries within the RCS Department.


Qualifications:



  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in social services, community outreach, or a related field is preferred.


  • Bachelors degree in social work or related field.


  • Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.


  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse population.


  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.


  • A commitment to promoting resident success and improving economic stability within the community.
