LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Controller for a stable and growing manufacturing and distribution company located in the Northern suburbs of Chicago. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years’ experience in accounting and strong inventory experience. Salary commensurate with experience will range from $150K-$165K + up to 10% Bonus plus health, dental and vision benefits, PTO, and more.

The Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting functions of a diverse group of entities. High-level responsibilities include but are not limited to: general ledger accounting, AP, AR, treasury management, assisting with process improvements and automation.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Month-end/year-end close

• Financial statement preparation and analysis

• Accounts receivables and payables

• Bank reconciliations

• Intercompany expense allocations, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and journal entries

• General ledger

• Assist with SALT tax filings

• Assist with process improvements

• Ad hoc projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required

• 8+ years of accounting experience

• CPA preferred

· ERP exposure, and MS Excel – vlookups and pivot tables
