Junior Accountant
Location: Vernon Hills, Illinois
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days on-site after training, 1 day from home)
Pay: $50-65k based on experience
Start Date: Mid May
Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant. This position is responsible for assisting the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records. Reporting to the VP of Finance Operations, the Junior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the company’s overall financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Provide support for audits and other financial reviews.
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
