Sales Support Specialist

The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing administrative and operational assistance. This position involves handling customer inquiries, generating sales proposals, and ensuring efficient order processing. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. This is a Contract to Hire position located near Vernon Hills, IL.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling appointments, preparing sales presentations, and managing customer information.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generate sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.
  • Process customer orders and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as shipping, logistics, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Track sales performance and prepare sales reports.
  • Assist with sales presentations and demonstrations.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in sales support or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
  • Contract to Hire
  • Monday-Friday
  • Pay is $24-$32 an hour, depending on experience
