LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Accountant for a stable and growing manufacturing and distribution company located in the Northern suburbs of Chicago. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience in accounting. Salary commensurate with experience will range from $75K-$90K + up to 10% Bonus plus health, dental and vision benefits, PTO, and more.

The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting functions of a diverse group of entities. High-level responsibilities include but are not limited to: general ledger accounting, AP, AR, treasury management, assisting with process improvements and automation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Month-end/year-end close
- Financial statement preparation and analysis
- Accounts receivables and payables
- Bank reconciliations
- Intercompany expense allocations, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and journal entries
- General ledger
- Assist with SALT tax filings
- Assist with process improvements
- Ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- CPA preferred
- ERP exposure, and MS Excel – vlookups and pivot tables
