Accounts Receivable Supervisor
Location: Vernon, CA
Position: Accounts Receivable Supervisor
Compensation: $45.00-$50.00 Hourly
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join their team in Vernon, CA. This role is crucial in managing our credit and collections processes, as well as overseeing deductions management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, particularly within the consumer products/manufacturing industry, and will be responsible for supervising a team of four.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit and Collections Management: Oversee the credit and collections processes to ensure timely and accurate collection of outstanding invoices. Implement strategies to minimize overdue accounts and manage credit risk.
Deductions Management: Handle and resolve customer deductions efficiently. Ensure all deductions are properly documented and reconciled.
Team Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of four accounts receivable professionals. Provide guidance and support to ensure team goals are met.
Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate smooth credit and collections processes. Address and resolve any customer inquiries or disputes.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable function.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in the consumer products industry is highly preferred.
Skills: Strong knowledge of credit and collections processes, deductions management, and accounts receivable best practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
