About the Role:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a trusted manufacturer in the Voorhees, NJ area to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join their finance team. Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, the Payroll Manager will lead payroll operations for our multi-state workforce. This includes end-to-end payroll processing, compliance, reconciliations, audits, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all payroll operations including processing, reconciliation, and compliance.

  • Supervise, coach, and develop a payroll team of 2–3 employees.

  • Manage payroll taxes, benefits deductions, garnishments, and 401(k) contributions.

  • Oversee W-2 year-end reconciliations and annual bonus payouts.

  • Collaborate with HR and Finance on audits and internal reporting.

  • Optimize systems and processes using ADP/UKG and other tools.

  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping and audit readiness.

  • Stay informed of changes in tax and labor laws.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 7 years of payroll experience; leadership experience required.

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.

  • Proficiency in ADP and/or UKG systems.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and team leadership skills.
