About the Role:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a trusted manufacturer in the Voorhees, NJ area to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join their finance team. Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, the Payroll Manager will lead payroll operations for our multi-state workforce. This includes end-to-end payroll processing, compliance, reconciliations, audits, and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all payroll operations including processing, reconciliation, and compliance.
Supervise, coach, and develop a payroll team of 2–3 employees.
Manage payroll taxes, benefits deductions, garnishments, and 401(k) contributions.
Oversee W-2 year-end reconciliations and annual bonus payouts.
Collaborate with HR and Finance on audits and internal reporting.
Optimize systems and processes using ADP/UKG and other tools.
Ensure accurate recordkeeping and audit readiness.
Stay informed of changes in tax and labor laws.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of payroll experience; leadership experience required.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
Proficiency in ADP and/or UKG systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and team leadership skills.
