We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk with car dealership experience in Wake Forest, NC.
Job Description:
- Processing Invoices: Receive and process invoices from vendors, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors, handle inquiries, and resolve discrepancies.
- Payment Processing: Prepare and execute payments via checks, electronic transfers, or credit card transactions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of transactions, including invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Expense Reports: Assist in preparing and reviewing expense reports and reimbursements.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support: Provide administrative support to the accounting team as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or relevant role. Experience in a dealership environment is beneficial.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks). Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills are essential.
- Communication: Good communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive and positive attitude.
This role is crucial in ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded and payments are made promptly, contributing to the dealership's overall financial operations.
Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
