Position: Bilingual HR Generalist (Spanish) – Temp-to-Hire
Location: Walnut Creek, CA (On-site)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Pay: $41.50 – $44/hour
Expected Hours: 40/week

A dynamic residential community is seeking an experienced Bilingual HR Generalist (Spanish-speaking) for a 4-month temp-to-hire opportunity supporting the HR department during a leadership transition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee relations and conduct investigations in accordance with company policies and California labor laws.

  • Administer Workers’ Compensation and Leave of Absence processes.

  • Promote workplace safety and support compliance with OSHA standards.

  • Support training initiatives and employee development.

  • Serve as liaison to managers and employees, providing policy guidance and HR support.

  • Act as a point of contact for union-related employee matters.

  • Assist with HR events, wellness programs, and internal communications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 4+ years in HR, including employee relations and safety programs.

  • Strong knowledge of CA labor laws and HR compliance.

  • Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish (speak, read, write).

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred.

  • Valid CA driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
