Location: Walnut Creek, CA (Hybrid)

Salary Range: $130K – $160K

A well-established organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join its team in Walnut Creek, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of HR leadership experience, strong employee relations expertise, and a passion for fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

Position Overview

The HR Manager will lead the development, implementation, and administration of HR best practices, policies, and strategies. This role serves as a key strategic partner, providing both operational and strategic HR leadership across the organization. The position focuses on enhancing employee engagement, ensuring compliance, and supporting organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations and provide general HR support.

  • Recommend and implement HR policies and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement.

  • Lead and support employee evaluation processes and compensation analysis.

  • Collaborate with leadership on special projects and HR initiatives.

  • Support process automation and system upgrades to improve HR efficiency.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR leadership experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.

  • Proven experience managing employee relations, including performance management and internal investigations.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and compensation practices across multiple states.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP) is a plus.

  • Passion for continuous improvement and delivering high-quality HR support.
