LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated Civil Structural Engineer with a minimum of three years of experience in designing manufacturing facilities for a growing client who services the metal manufacturing and heavy industrial manufacturing companies. The ideal candidate will be based in the Warren, Ohio area and will be responsible for the development, design, and structural integrity of industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
Design and analyze heavy, multi-story industrial buildings, focusing on structural steel.
Develop structural connection details, ranging from typical to complex.
Coordinate with other discipline engineers and designers to ensure project success.
Prepare structural calculations, structural plans, and details of structural elements for various materials.
Review calculations, drawings, and reports produced by other structural engineers.
Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
Travel to client’s site to gather additional information for the project.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, STAAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
Strong project management and supervision skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with industrial wiring and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in heavy to light industrial projects.
Familiarity with the design and analysis of structural systems in heavy industry.
Proven ability to perform duties including code interpretation, analysis, and specifications writing/editing.
Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
