LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a construction company located in Warren, NJ We are seeking a temporary, part-time/ full time floating accountant to provide support across various departments as needed. This role is ideal for a versatile accounting professional who can adapt to different tasks and contribute their expertise wherever required.

Job Description: Temporary Part-Time Floating Accountant

Location: Warren, NJ

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end close processes, including preparing and posting journal entries.
• Manage payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Help with budgeting and forecasting processes to aid financial planning.
• Conduct audits to ensure financial integrity and compliance with regulations.
• Provide financial guidance and support to different departments.
• Collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets and financial performance.
• Maintain and update financial records and documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
