LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a construction company located in Warren, NJ We are seeking a temporary, part-time/ full time floating accountant to provide support across various departments as needed. This role is ideal for a versatile accounting professional who can adapt to different tasks and contribute their expertise wherever required.
Job Description: Temporary Part-Time Floating Accountant
Location: Warren, NJ
Pay Rate: $25-$27 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end close processes, including preparing and posting journal entries.
- Manage payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Help with budgeting and forecasting processes to aid financial planning.
- Conduct audits to ensure financial integrity and compliance with regulations.
- Provide financial guidance and support to different departments.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets and financial performance.
- Maintain and update financial records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
