LHH is seeking a Patient Access Representative to support our Healthcare team in Warrenville, IL.

Location: 100% Onsite – Warrenville, IL 60555
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-Hour Day Shifts)
Position Summary:
As a Patient Access Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, delivering exceptional service and ensuring a smooth and efficient registration and scheduling process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient confidentiality and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding customer service aligned with the Patients First philosophy.
Accurately collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information.
Schedule appointments and perform medical necessity checks as needed.
Communicate financial obligations and provide out-of-pocket estimates upon request.
Collaborate with hospital departments and physician offices to guide patients through the system.
Respond to patient inquiries and escalate complex issues to leadership as appropriate.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality at all times.
Participate in cross-training and quality assurance reviews to ensure data integrity.
Support service recovery efforts and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
2–3 years of customer service or medical office experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in computer data entry and ability to type at least 40 WPM.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Customer service mindset with a focus on patient satisfaction.
Preferred:
Additional education or language skills.
Experience in healthcare finance or insurance.
Familiarity with patient scheduling and registration systems.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
