Position Summary:

LHH is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Associate to join our client’s team in downtown DC. This role involves delivering essential administrative and operational assistance across departments to support efficient internal workflows and deliver exceptional service to clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accurately file and maintain client documents within appropriate accounts.

  • Offer day-to-day administrative support to teams focused on client service.

  • Liaise with the firm’s clearing house and operations teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth communication.

  • Collaborate regularly with senior leadership and Account Executives.

  • Develop expertise in internal processes and act as a go-to resource for operational questions.

  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support business operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred, but not required.

  • A minimum of one year of experience in financial services or a brokerage setting.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.

  • Excellent organizational skills and a high level of initiative.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.

  • Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with a focus on maintaining positive client interactions.
