Policy Administrative Assistant
LHH is seeking a Policy Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to the Policy team, assisting with the development, implementation, and administration of company policies. This role involves a blend of administrative tasks and policy-focused activities, ensuring that policy documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and effectively communicated across the organization. The ideal candidate will be available immediately on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Documentation and Management: Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting policy documents and procedures. Maintain an organized system for tracking and storing policy documents. Ensure all policy documents are updated in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational changes.
Research and Analysis: Conduct preliminary research on policy-related issues and trends. Prepare summaries and reports based on policy research and data.
Communication and Coordination: Act as a liaison between the Policy team and other departments, facilitating smooth communication. Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes. Distribute policy updates and ensure that all relevant stakeholders are informed.
Administrative Support: Manage and prioritize the Policy Manager’s schedule, including coordinating meetings and travel arrangements. Handle correspondence, including drafting and responding to emails and other communications. Perform general office tasks, such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
Compliance and Monitoring: Assist in monitoring adherence to policies and procedures across the organization. Support internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with established policies.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably with exposure to policy or regulatory environments. Experience with document management and policy development processes is a plus.
Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software. Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to tasks. Adaptability and willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed.
