Job Title: Junior Renewable Energy Specialist
Location: Washington, DC
Job Type: Full-time, M - F (40 hours a week)

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Renewable Energy Specialist to join our team located in Washington, DC. In this role, you will support the development, implementation, and management of renewable energy projects under the guidance of senior specialists or managers. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, design, and execution of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and hydroelectric initiatives.
Conduct research on renewable energy technologies, policies, and market trends to provide insights that inform project planning.
Support the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules to align with business and sustainability goals.
Coordinate project activities, such as procurement, construction, and commissioning, ensuring all steps run smoothly and efficiently.
Collect, analyze, and report on data related to renewable energy production, consumption, and efficiency metrics.
Monitor project performance and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key outcomes and progress.
Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to promote project success and resolve challenges.
Contribute to the development and implementation of renewable energy policies and regulatory compliance.
Provide technical support to project teams, helping troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging renewable energy technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in team settings with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong interest in renewable energy technologies and sustainability practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prior experience in renewable energy or related field is a plus but not required.
