A Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Patient Coordinator provides essential support to patients, colleagues, and referral sources.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist individuals entering the clinic.
Communicate expected wait times and any delays.
Check-in patients, verifying demographic and insurance information.
Complete registration for walk-in patients.
Collect patient out-of-pocket responsibilities (deductibles, copays, co-insurance, etc.).
Schedule follow-up appointments for patients.
Answer incoming calls and provide information.
Act as a clinic concierge, offering support in patient experience programs, support groups, and resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school education or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Bilingual (Spanish), required.
Experience with EMR systems, preferably NextGen.
Working knowledge of medical insurance regulations, coding, billing, and reimbursement protocols.
Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
