Accounts Payable Analyst

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full Cycle, High Volume Accounts Payable Analyst to join our client’s growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to handle a high volume of transactions, and a strong understanding of accounting principles. This position is Direct hire and will pay between $45K and $65K annually.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately review, code, and process a high volume of invoices in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing any inquiries or discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions, resolving any discrepancies.
  • Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate and analyze accounts payable reports, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or higher in business is preferred but not required
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • MUST HAVE RECENT ACCOUNTS PAYABLE EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.
