The Accounts Receivable Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing the billing operations and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of project-based billing, cost tracking, and compliance with industry-specific regulations and client contracts. This position is direct hire and will pay between $70K and $90K annually.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end billing process for multiple construction and manufacturing projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, finance, and operations teams to gather billing data and ensure accuracy.
- Review contracts and change orders to ensure billing aligns with agreed terms.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Prepare and analyze billing reports and metrics for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
- Lead and mentor billing staff, providing training and performance feedback.
- Oversee cash application throughout several locations
- Coordinate with external auditors during financial reviews or audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred but not required
- 5+ years of billing experience, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost tracking.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
