Corporate Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced accountant for a rapidly growing company in West Chester, OH. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Pay for this position will range between $65K and $85K annually. This is a Direct Hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
