LHH Recruitment Solutions has a CNC Manufacturing Technician role open for our client in the West Chester, PA region. Qualified candidate MUST HAVE proven CNC exposure with CNC machines such as; lathes, mills, Swiss mills, and machinery such as Miyano, Haas, Mori, Sharp etc. as well as experience in industrial applications required, for a minimum of 3 years! This direct hire role allows you to expand your CNC career through supporting the production floor by meeting supply and demand and timely production and delivery to customers! This position is fully on-site and is a SECOND shift schedule.

Salary range is approximately $80,000.00.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Participate in continuous improvement events/workshops and Kaizen events as scheduled.

  • Identify, create and implement best practices.

  • Utilize manufacturing methods, part routings, and CNC programs as directed.

  • Identify any opportunities to create and update process and procedure improvement documentation such as work and trainings.

  • Design fixturing and tools using CAD/CAM software as required.

  • Systematically reduce machine set-up times (SMED) as possible.

  • Perform basic troubleshooting or repairs of equipment as needed, however, not perform any maintenance without managements prior knowledge and approval following lockout tagout procedures.

  • Complete any initial mechanical and electrical root cause analysis for equipment failures within scope of capabilities and adhering to safety policy and procedure.

  • Perform validations and calibrations as needed/required.

  • Work closely with Quality Assurance to perform failure analysis for defective components utilizing root cause analysis.

  • Submit all deviation and change order requests as deemed necessary.

  • Train and audit machine operators as career progresses.

  • Proven strong organizational skill required.

  • Willingness to work 2nd shift or weekend production as needed.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or higher in mechanical discipline required.

  • Experience working in a Quality Management System such as ISO9001 or AS9100 highly preferred.

  • Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma/Process improvement tools experience highly preferred.

  • 3 years’ experience programming and setup of CNC lathes/mills required.

  • Swiss lathe experience highly preferred.

  • Expertise in all Microsoft Office applications.

  • Exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management utilization.
