The temporary Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing and managing accounts payable transactions to ensure timely and accurate payments. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract to hire opportunity and will be onsite near West Chicago.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, verify, and process invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper authorization and coding of expenses.
  • Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Manage payment schedules and ensure timely disbursement of funds.
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Reconcile accounts payable statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, discrepancies, and other inquiries.
  • Address and resolve vendor issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and generate reports related to accounts payable activities.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.


Pay Details: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour
