We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our clients team. This is a contract-to-hire position, offering a competitive hourly rate of $20 - $22. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a passion for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
