Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automotive Accounting Manager to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dealership accounting and hands-on experience with CDK. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency within our automotive dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger.

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reconcile accounts.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and dealership policies.

• Manage schedules, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.

• Collaborate with department managers to support budgeting and forecasting.

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.

• Utilize CDK to manage dealership accounting functions and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in automotive dealership accounting.

• Proficiency with CDK is required.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and dealership financial operations.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
