Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and manage bank reconciliations.
- Collaborate directly with the owner on financial matters.
- Oversee the AP/AR staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze General Ledger (GL) reports.
- Conduct job costing and manage project-based accounting.
- Perform internal audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Handle workers' compensation and liability accounting.
- Utilize accounting software such as Peachtree, Sage, and QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Proven experience in corporate accounting, with a focus on bank reconciliations.
- Strong understanding of AP/AR processes.
- Proficiency in Peachtree, Sage, and QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the owner and other senior executives.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with job costing and project-based accounting.
- Familiarity with internal auditing processes.
- Knowledge of workers' compensation and liability accounting.
- Ability to generate and analyze detailed GL reports.
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
