Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and manage bank reconciliations.
• Collaborate directly with the owner on financial matters.
• Oversee the AP/AR staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze General Ledger (GL) reports.
• Conduct job costing and manage project-based accounting.
• Perform internal audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Handle workers' compensation and liability accounting.
• Utilize accounting software such as Peachtree, Sage, and QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Proven experience in corporate accounting, with a focus on bank reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of AP/AR processes.
• Proficiency in Peachtree, Sage, and QuickBooks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the owner and other senior executives.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with job costing and project-based accounting.
• Familiarity with internal auditing processes.
• Knowledge of workers' compensation and liability accounting.
• Ability to generate and analyze detailed GL reports.
