Key Responsibilities:


  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for each property, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and categorized.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts for the properties, analyzing variances and providing explanations.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections, and reconciling accounts.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all property accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Lease Administration: Track and manage lease agreements, including rent rolls, lease escalations, and tenant billings.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of property tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Audit Support: Prepare and provide documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with property managers, leasing agents, and the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient property operations.
  • Month-End Close: Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is properly accounted for and reports are delivered on time.
