Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• GL Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and discrepancies are resolved.
• Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation and information are accurate and readily available.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of financial results, identifying and explaining variances to management.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification or progress towards CPA designation is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on financial reporting and GL reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
