Job Title: Temp-to-Hire Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: West Palm Beach, FL (100% Onsite)

Pay Rate: $20-$23 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in West Palm Beach, FL. This is a temp-to-hire position with the potential for permanent employment based on performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Maintain vendor files and records.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Provide support for audits and other financial reviews.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
