LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Accounting Assistant job opportunity for the corporate office located in West Sacramento, CA. This position is 100% in-office. The ideal candidate will have accounts payable experience and accounts receivable experience. The responsibilities are accounts payable processing, coding invoices, setting up accounts, assisting clients, billing, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Strong Accounts Payable experience required

  • Accounts Receivable experience would be preferred

  • Solid knowledge of general accounting knowing your debits and credits

  • Industry experience within a government agency would be preferred

  • Software experience with Coupa would be nice to have

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel

  • Solid communications skills (written & verbal)

  • Team player, helpful, and a positive attitude

  • Reliable, dedicated, and willing to learn

  • Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree would be nice to have (less experience is fine if degreed)


Experience: 2 years of accounting experience (Accounts Payable Specialist, Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounting Assistant, Accounting Clerk)

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
