LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a confidential client to identify a highly organized and experienced Legal Secretary to support a dual practice in Trusts & Estates and Corporate Law. This is a dynamic administrative role ideal for someone who thrives in a structured legal environment and enjoys supporting attorneys with a wide range of tasks.
While experience in trusts, estates, or corporate law is a plus, it is not required. However, prior law firm experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to attorneys in both trusts/estates and corporate practice areas
- Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
- Maintain and organize client files, both physical and electronic
- Handle time entry, billing, and expense reporting
- Assist with document management and filing using legal software systems
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and internal teams
- Support attorneys with project tracking and deadline management
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a law firm is required
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with legal terminology and document formatting standards
- Experience with legal software such as ProLaw, Elite, or TyMetrix is preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
Benefits:
Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401k plan. Additionally, you may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
