Tax Preparer/Office Manager | Wichita, KS

LHH is partnering with a client in the Financial Services Industry who is seeking a Tax Preparer/Office Manager in the Wichita, KS area. This position will be responsible for all office operations- answering phones & emails, ordering office supplies, and assisting customers with individual tax filing & some businesses.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently.
  • Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation of expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Manage office operations, including scheduling, filing, and maintaining records.
  • Assist clients with tax-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor of Accounting, Business Administration, or High School Diploma with equivalent experience
  • Skills:
    • Individual tax filing with some business
    • Office Administration experience
    • Strong written & verbal communication
    • Organization & strong attention to detail

  • Compensation: $25-30ph.
  • Job Type: Contract or DH
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (during tax season), 9am-3pm (off tax season)- fully onsite

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
