LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Supervisor of Cost Accounting to lead our cost accounting team and drive financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for a seasoned cost accounting professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a team of cost accountants, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of cost-related financial data.

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of cost reports, inventory valuations, standard cost updates, and variance analyses.

• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes related to cost accounting.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external audit requirements.

• Utilize SAP to manage cost accounting functions, including product costing, material ledger, and cost center accounting.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in cost accounting practices.

• Provide training and development opportunities to team members to foster growth and performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, in a manufacturing environment.

• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

• Proficiency in SAP is required

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
