LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Payroll Supervisor- Processing for a leading manufacturing company in Willoughby, OH aera. Our client is seeking an experienced a candidate that has a strong background in payroll processing management, with at least 8 years of experience, including proficiency with UKG Payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Supervise and mentor payroll staff, providing training and development opportunities.
Manage payroll workflows to ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently.
Ability to balance payroll dollar calculations to ensure all SOX controls comply.
Audit payroll data and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Manage quarter and year-end tax requirement for W-2 reporting.
Process and maintain 1099-Mis thru AP.
Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
Ensure that employee payroll processing is compliant with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to improve payroll service delivery.
Stay current with payroll systems and technology to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of payroll experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience with UKG Payroll software is essential.
Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or applicable experience
CPP Certification a Plus!
Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
